Traditional and multi-pitch rock climbing in the Dolomites
The Dolomites and the mountains of Trentino offer some of the finest traditional climbing experiences in the Alps. From historic routes established by the great pioneers of alpinism to modern climbs on well-equipped rock, every ascent tells a story of movement, exposure and adventure.
The areas where I most often guide are the Brenta Dolomites, with their elegant walls rising in a spectacular and wild mountain setting; the multi-pitch routes of Arco and the Sarca Valley, considered among the finest limestone climbing destinations in Europe; and the Adamello–Presanella granite massif, which offers a different style of climbing on slabs and crack systems in a remote and unspoilt alpine environment.
For climbers wishing to explore further afield, I also organise ascents in other famous Dolomite groups, including the Val di Fassa Dolomites, Sella Group, Pale di San Martino, Marmolada, and the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
Whether you are looking for your first multi-pitch experience or a classic Dolomite route, the goal is always the same: to enjoy a rewarding day in the mountains, learn something new, and reach the summit safely.
