Snowshoeing hike to Malghette lake: through alpine huts, forests, and magical winter views
A fascinating and varied winter route that begins at Campo Carlo Magno and unfolds in a beautiful natural setting. Ideal with snowshoes, the trail starts along a gentle forest path leading to the charming Malga Zeledria—a perfect spot for a short break.
From there, the route continues into the heart of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, winding through quiet, snow-covered landscapes with gentle ups and downs, until reaching Lake Malghette. In winter, the lake is often frozen and blanketed in snow, surrounded by a spectacular frame of fir trees and snowy peaks.
The return follows a circular route, passing by the scenic area of Malga Vigo, offering wide-open views and breathtaking panoramas of the Brenta Dolomites and the Presanella mountain group, with the option to enjoy a meal or warm drink at one of the mountain huts along the way.
An excursion full of atmosphere and beauty, yet still accessible—perfect for those seeking a genuine connection with nature. Suitable for curious hikers, families, and groups.
